Everyone’s always trying to find the best fuel for their workouts, whether it’s supplements, drinks, vitamins, or the foods you put in your body. I don’t believe there is a magical potion you can take to make all your problems go away, but I do have some favorites that I’ll always grab when headed to workout.

Body Armor // Favorite Flavor – Fruit Punch

Let me tell you, this stuff tastes sooooooooo good!! And not only that, it’s super good for you as well. Body Armor makes their drinks with all natural flavors and natural sweetners plus no artificial colors either. One of my favorite parts about this drink is that it’s made up of 10% coconut water – perfect for staying hydrated! After trying Body Armor, it’s been so hard to go back to other sports drinks. The taste is far superior and it has more electorlytes, vitamins and potassium which helps me recover after my workouts. Trust me when I say you need to get one for yourself next time you hit the gym. I could honestly drink this everyday and never get tired of it!

Lara Bar // Favorite Flavor – Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip

Now for my favorite snack – Lara Bars come out on top! Their slogan is that the bars are “food made from food” and they aren’t kidding. These are literally the ingrediants of my favorite flavor peanut butter chocolate chip: dates, peanuts, semisweet chocolate chips, and sea salt. That’s it! Only 4! I was shocked myself when I read the back. But it is so satisfying to know that what I’m putting into my body are great ingredients. Not to metion it tastes better than other bars that have 2-3x more ingredients which half are ones I can’t pronounce. All of their bars are non-GMO, gluten free, vegan, and dairy free. Plus this bar is super filling and great for energy which I love for before or after I workout.

There you have it! My go-to drink and snack for working out and trust me, these aren’t going away anytime soon. The combination of great taste and healthy ingredients make these two some of the best in my book.
