Straw Bags in the Springtime

Helloooo Spring! Finally we are having some warm weather here in Ohio and it’s making me so excited to try different styles and trends!

If you have been keeping up with my life, you will know I am a senior at Ohio State and that I’ll be graduating in less than a week. It is so crazy to think I will be completely done with school. It has been a whirlwind of ups and downs, lessons learned, and memories made. I’ve learned a lot about myself as a person and a lot about my personal style. Having this blog my last year of school has been one of the greatest experiences. I love being able to look back at old posts and see how much I have grown into the woman I am now. And I can’t wait to keep on this journey. I want to keep making content and expressing myself through clothes and this blog. I hope you all will continue on this journey with me <3

Anywaysss enough of the cheesy stuff lol onto the trend I’ve been loving: straw bags!

Straw accessories, espically straw bags, have been the latest rage and I am all for it. I love the natural look and feel these bags give off. They are super simple that you could wear them with almost anything, but they still stand out because they aren’t a typical bag material. Mine is from BohoBags.com (link here to mine) as a gift for my two year anniversay with my boyfriend (I’m lucky he has great taste too 😉 ). Every bag is hand woven in Indonesia which makes it even more special.

For my anniversay, I wanted to wear something that was low fuss but still dressy. I got this super chic jumpsuit from Marshalls (obsessed with that store btw) that could not have been a more perfect find. I love the vertical white stripes that makes the eye travel all the way down to my shoes. Speaking of shoes, mine are these basic black sandals from Target. Super simple and super comfy. I also have on a floral scarf that was passed down to me from my mom and large hoop earrings to bring the whole look together.

Now that spring is here, you can bet there will be a ton of new and fun trends to try. Stay tuned to find out which ones I’m loving and how you can style them too!
