A Transitional Fall Look

With summer coming to a close, and fall steadily approaching, it can be hard to figure out what’s appropriate to wear. We’re basically in the season where it’s cold in the morning so you bundle up a little, then immediately regret it late afternoon when the sun comes out and you can’t stop sweating! Trust me, I know the feeling haha. For me, one of the easiest ways to transition from summer to fall looks is to actually mix the pieces together in one outfit! For example, in my look today, I’m wearing a simple sweater I would wear all the time in the fall and paired it with a summertime skirt! The key to this mixing is to have a heavier weight piece (example: the sweater) mixed with a lightweight piece (skirt). You could also wear a t-shirt (light) and some cargo pants (heavy) as another transitional option. The heavy aspect really brings in the fall spirit while the lighter one keeps you cool and comfortable! Another way I added some fall spirit to my outfit was by mixing neutral colors. The different shades of brown, white, and tan really bring a warm and cozy feel you get during the cooler months! I finished off my look with some chic strappy heels with tassel detailing and my Fendi bag that I scored for under $150 from Luxury Garage Sale! Let me know in the comments how you would mix pieces for a transitional fall look!
