It’s shopping time! One of my favorite activities, and an expensive one at that 😉 And even though I’m not shopping for myself, I still love buying gifts. When you go out to get all your Christmas gifts for friends and family, you could be out for hours upon hours. You want to be fashionable, but also practical in how comfortable and functional your outfit is. My go-to shopping look involves a warm sweater, some comfy boots and one of my favorite winter coats.
My olive green jacket has been a staple in my wardrobe for many years now and it’s still holding strong today. I got mine from Forever 21 (similar here) and I love the faux fur on the hood. It adds a warm and cozy touch that is so fun during the winter time.
Another piece to this look that makes it so practical for shopping around is my Tommy Hilfiger cross body bag. This type of purse allows you to keep your hands free when you are browsing and holding bags. I got mine from Marshall’s (one of my favorite stores, especially for finding unique gifts!) I also wore some black combat boots to keep my feet warm and comfortable enough to be walking around all over too.
Keeping your hair out of your face is another great tip for when you’re out shopping for awhile. The last thing I want to do is be constantly distracted by my hair. I wore a suede cap from H&M (link here) to not only keep me warm, but also hold my hair out of my face.
Make sure to fuel your body with some delicious food so you can last your whole shopping trip!
The number one thing to remember when you go out to get all your gifts is to mix your fashion with functionality to have the best shopping experience you can! Happy gifting!
